Multilingual Health Information Resource

Kelty Mental Health is now partnering with Our Kids’ Health, an Ontario-based online resource that shares evidence-based health information that is translated into 10 languages and adapted to help parents make the right decisions for the health of their family.

Our Kids’ Health provides health information from the following cultural chapters: Punjabi, Tamil, Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Ukrainian, Hispanic, Inuit, Pinoy (Filipino), Black. The new partnership between BC Children’s Hospital Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre and Our Kids’ Health Network means that the two organizations will now be working together to create mental health content for families across Canada.

The website at https://kidshealthnetwork.org/ offers a range of resources, information and videos on kids health issues. The information is generally accessible in English as well as in the appropriate language and is presented by experts and uses graphics and illustrations from within the cultural group in creating the content for the relevant audience.
