PlanH, implemented by BC Healthy Communities Society, works in collaboration with health authorities, UBCM and the Ministry of Health to support the Province of BC’s health promotion strategy.

The PlanH website offers a list of funding opportunities along with guides and resources to support grant writing activities under the following categories:

·      Children and Youth

·      Community Development and Resiliency

·      Environment

·      Food Security

·      Mental Health and Well-being

·      Health Research

·      Housing

·      Indigenous Communities

·      Physical Activity and Recreation

·      Other: a variety including arts funding, links to community grants and community foundations

·      Grant Writing Resources include the Greater Victoria Community Funders’ Network Grant Writing Handbook, the First Peoples’ Grant Writing Handbook, and the Northern Development Grant Writing Support.

The BC Aboriginal Child Care Society website offers a list of funding opportunities and resources including books, online, lending library, practical tools, community resources, and a BCACCS publication, under the following headings. Some of these resources have online links, whilst others are available for purchase or through the resource centre library (requires registration).
