1.  The 5th International Conference on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder

This conference brings together experts from multiple disciplines to share international research, discuss the implications of this research, and to promote scientific/community collaboration.  The conference will be held at the Westin Bayshore, Vancouver, from February 27th to March 2nd, 2013. The conference goal is to highlight international research and promising practice and enhance scientific collaborations around the world.

2.  Brain Development and Learning Conference

This conference runs from July 24th to 28th, 2013, at the Westin Bayshore Hotel, Vancouver. Dedicated to making a difference, speakers include Dan Siegal, Mary Gordon, Susan Goldin-Meadow and Michael Stryker. Prepare to be inspired, empowered—and perhaps even transformed. This is an interdisciplinary conference devoted to improving children’s lives by highlighting innovative programs and by making the newest research and insights from neuroscience, child development, psychology and medicine understandable and applicable to those who work directly with children.

3.  Northern Citizens Series Webinar – Home Is Where Your Health Is

BC Healthy Communities and Northern Health have teamed up again to offer the Northern BC Citizens Series webinars on a variety of topics between now and mid-April.
